Emely Rachela is an actor and a co-founder of the Arkadia Theatre Company.

Emely Rachela is a Swiss-Portuguese actor based in New York. She is also a co-founder of the Arkadia Theatre Company fka The Chekhovians.
She loves the mountains she grew up in and swimming in mountain lakes, snowboarding under the Matterhorn, roadtrips, classic rock, car rides with her dad, mum’s cooking, going on adventures with her brother, daydreaming, creating, Chekhov, innovative, challenging and clever theatre.
Emely is a selfstarter and has co-produced multiple plays and shortfilms in New York and in Europe.
Her favorite roles she got to be so far, are Jig in Hills Like White Elephants and Irina Arkadina in The Seagull.
Her dreamrole of the moment is Mary Todd Lincoln in Cole Escola’s Oh, Mary!
